KiwSuperSaver — Privacy Policy

Welcome to KiwSuperSaver, developed by Kiw Lab. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how our app works. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information. By using KiwSuperSaver, you agree to the terms outlined here.

KiwSuperSaver is designed to help you save WhatsApp statuses to your device. To provide this functionality, the app requires certain device permissions. Below we explain exactly what we access and why.

2.1 Personal Information

We do not collect personal information. KiwSuperSaver does NOT:

• Collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
• Track your location or browsing history.
• Access your messages, call logs, or private communications.
• Upload or transmit your files to any external server.

2.2 Data We Access Locally

To work properly, KiwSuperSaver accesses the following only on your device:

• Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) — Why: To read WhatsApp status files from the device (the .Statuses folder) and copy selected images/videos to a folder you control.
  We only read status files. We do not access or modify unrelated photos, documents, or other personal files.
• Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — Why: To display ads using Google AdMob which helps keep the app free.
  We do not upload your files or statuses to any server.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — Why: To optionally notify you when new statuses appear. Notifications are local; we do not send marketing spam.
• Package visibility — the app may check whether WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business is installed so it can locate the status folder. This does not read your WhatsApp messages or contacts.

All data accessed by KiwSuperSaver remains on your device only. We use it for:

• Displaying available WhatsApp statuses inside the app.
• Copying/saving selected files to your device storage.
• Showing ads that fund the app.
• Sending local notifications (only if you enable them).

Important: We do not upload, transmit, or share your files or personal data with any third party or server.

4.1 Google AdMob

KiwSuperSaver uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect anonymized data for ad personalization and analytics (device model, ad interaction, advertising ID). Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).

4.2 No other third-party trackers

We do not integrate other analytics or tracking services.

All saved status files remain on your device only. We do not back up or sync files to the cloud. You control saved files and can delete them anytime from the app or your file manager.

KiwSuperSaver is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Access: View saved statuses inside the app or using your file manager.
• Delete: Delete saved files anytime.
• Revoke permissions: Change app permissions (Settings > Apps > KiwSuperSaver > Permissions).
• Uninstall: Remove the app to delete app data and permissions.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users by updating the "Last Updated" date and (when applicable) showing an in-app notice for significant changes.

KiwSuperSaver is an independent application and is not affiliated, endorsed, or associated with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp® is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. Users must respect privacy and intellectual property rights of status creators.
